The Crash 10/10/12 Empty The Crash 10/10/12

Post  TiaLynn Thu Oct 11, 2012 10:07 am

Fog swirled through the eyes of my true love as I watched her chest move slowly, her breath rattled more and more, fading into the darkness. Her hazel eyes that were once so full of life now filled themselves with death. The end was nearing. Tears ran down my face as I said I love you, holding her and telling her it was okay. It was all I had left. All she had left. And somehow, I was happy the last thing she would see on earth was me, even if it was in fact too soon. But was she robbed of her time; what if she was meant to be here with me in this simple moment? This moment I would keep forever when I sleep and awake, this moment my heart would never let me forget. Numbing myself to the pain as blood ran down my face, she smiled up at me one last time before her body went limp and she froze. Now she was a picture. Frozen in time, her foggy eyes and lopsided smile gazed back at me until I could no longer see and the tears burned my face. That was the last time I ever drove a car.
