Some Things You Never Knew

The tears, yes the tears, they have long since dried;
It feels like forever since I've cried.
My cheek pressed against the floor, so hard, so cold,
I do not wish to ever grow old.

There are some things, though, I ought to look past,
Growing old will happen, and will happen quite fast.
In the moments I grow and learn and love,
I must cherish the moments, and thank those above.

The ones who are searched for by many, and rarely found.

I would change never telling you first thing in the fall.

There are many things about you that make my heart beat fast,
There are so many things I want to always last.
