The smell of dirt fills my nasal passages
A cool breeze dances around me and flits through my clothes on my back.
The world is at complete peace.
The world is quiet
The world is calm
The world, for once... Makes sense and is lovely in every way.
Between my fingers lie a blade of grass, and I play with it absentmindedly
You by my side, the sun shining bright,
Everything right now just feels so right.
Although the sun is frying my body,
What really is worth staying is your serenity.
Your gentle voice whispers in my ear,
And all I want to do is stay here.
If I could have that moment, where I was like a dog, just living in the moment...
I would savor it, and relive it everywhere I went.
However, all moments must pass...
And I hope to recapture it, every time I lay on the grass.
