The Heart [A Poem]

In my head, I feel and think differently
Than most would think.
I get so confused sometimes when my words stop or my heart skips;
Skips and sometimes stops all at the same thought.
So why does it happen?
Our hearts all act the same. They get in the way at the most terrible of times.
However, that is no reason to give up
Actually, it is the biggest reason to rise above.
Rise above and fight back.
Do it for those you love. Do it for your heart.
That heart is your everything, treat it right. Even if it does get in the way.
Only you control how you feel, and the
Sting of a heartbreak makes you stronger. Makes you better,
And it makes you a whole new you. A better you.
Yet no one sees this, and only I know... What I feel inside is that...
I can not
Live
Or breath. Without knowing that this thing that
Vexes me so, is really what makes me who I am.
Everyday I wish you could help me...
You are like me. Together, we are...
One.
Understand I will be here, until the end.
